We are an award winning affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management. Whether you are new to the HR field or have many years of experience, we are a local starting point for networking, information, professional development, and continued support of excellence in Human Resources. Membership in Prince William SHRM Inc. is a symbol of your contribution and commitment to the human resources profession as a whole and in your community.
Many SHRM members have said that no one ever invited them to join a local chapter. This is your invitation to join us at an event to see how our chapter can benefit you. We may be just the place you were looking for. Our goal is to provide a forum for the personal and professional development of our members and to focus on current human resource management issues of importance to them. We hope to provide high-quality, dynamic and responsive programs generally the first Wednesday of each month in the Prince William area.
Membership in Prince William SHRM is separate from membership in the national SHRM organization or other chapters of SHRM located elsewhere in the U.S., but all members of Prince William SHRM must first be members of the national SHRM organization before joining our chapter. HR professionals join the national organization and the Prince William chapter to fully utilize the benefits unique to each.
