Membership Renewal

    We are glad that you have decided to renew your membership with us.  As a reminder, we are a 100% chapter which means that membership is only available to those professionals who are members in good standing with National SHRM.  If your National SHRM membership has expired, please use the "SHRM Online Home" link on this page to renew your national membership.

    IMPORTANT:  After completing this form, please click on "Sign-In" in the top right corner of the page, so that you can review and update your personal information accordingly.  This information should be kept current, so that we may provide you with timely communications. 

    National SHRM recognizes only one chapter as your official or primary chapter. Prince William SHRM will be designated as your primary chapter unless you indicate another primary chapter designation. This in no way precludes you from being a member of more than one chapter.
    PROFESSIONAL: Practitioner of HR management at the exempt level for at least 3 years; Certified by HRCI; Faculty member holding an assistant, associate or full professor rank in HR management or any of its specialized functions at an accredited college or university for at least 3 years; Full-time consultant with at least 3 years experience practicing in the field of HR management; or Full-time attorneys with at least 3 years experience in counseling and advising clients on matters relating to the HR profession. Professional Members may vote and hold office in the Chapter. ASSOCIATE: Individuals in non-exempt HR management positions as well as other interested individuals who do not meet qualifications of the other classes of membership, but who demonstrate a bona fide interest in HR management and the mission of the Chapter. Associate Members may not vote or hold office in the Chapter. STUDENT: Individuals enrolled full-time or part-time in a degree-seeking program taking at least six (6) credit hours per semester, or during a 15 week equivalency; Coursework, taken or planned, supports an interest in Human Resource Management or related degree program.
    The annual membership fee is $50.00 each calendar year. After submitting this application, you will have the option to pay electronically through paypal or by sending a check to: Prince William SHRM, Attn: Treasurer, P.O. Box 411, Manassas, VA 20108. If you are renewing your membership for the current calendar year after July 1; the annual fee is discounted to $25.
