For the first quarter of 2022, we are supporting Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV) as our selected community outreach campaign! LSNV’s mission is to provide access to justice for disadvantaged individuals and communities. LSNV does so by providing free legal counsel to the region’s low income and neediest populations on civil legal matters – namely and currently related to the negative impact of COVID-19 on our community. They are also a member of the Human Services Alliance of Greater Prince William County whose goal is to collaborate with organizations to provide services and assistance to the residents of Prince William County.

Raul Torres assists in the development, implementation, and compliance of equal employment opportunity laws and policies, including Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act; the American with Disabilities Act; the Age Discrimination in Employment Act; the Equal Pay Act; the Fair Housing Act; internal equal employment opportunity policies; local ordinances and state laws. Prior to his role at the PWC Human Rights Commission, Torres held positions with other local VA Human Rights Commissions, was a faculty member for Ana G. Mendez University system, and was a partner in a private law practice. Torres is a Certified Public Manager and earned his master’s degree in Labor Law from George Washington University Law School and his Juris Doctorate in Business Law from the University of Puerto Rico Law School. He is a member of the Arlington County Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar Association, and admitted lawyer to the Commonwealth of Virginia, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and District of Columbia.
