Presenter(s):
Adam Calli, a 20-year plus HR veteran, founder of HR Consulting firm Arc Human Capital, LLC, a SHRM and GMU HR Instructor, and a former board member and longtime friend of Prince William SHRM.

Adam will lead table exercises and discussion built around your submitted MPCs.  Table groups will dissect the challenges brought forth by their fellow attendees and provide insights and advice on how to approach their issues.  Individuals and their company names will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed as part of the discussion.  You’ll have access to a room full of HR experts!  Get a new POV on your MPC!

Please submit your MPCs to our Programs Director (PROGRAMS@PWSHRM.ORG) no later than February 15, 2020.  Please provide the following information:

  • Company size (# of employees)
  • Company age (and age of specific location, if relevant)
  • Describe your MPC and how long it has been going on?  It it’s been a while, why is it becoming an issue now?  What has changed?  MPC suggested categories are:
    • Employee Relations, Training and Development, Benefits and Compensation, Recruitment and Retention, Workforce Development/Succession Planning
  • Are there corporate cultural factors to consider?
  • Is your operation multi-location?  Multi-state?
  • Remember the stakeholder concept – determine who is affected by the issue.  Employees?  Investors?  Managers?  Owners?  Your Community?  Customers?  Describe how they are affected.

We look forward to a lively discussion!
