Consortium Member Rate: Refers to members of local SHRM chapters that we have entered in to an agreement to offer our discounted member rate to their chapter members (Loudoun SHRM, Fauquier Culpeper SHRM). Table groups will dissect the challenges brought forth by their fellow attendees and provide insights and advice on how to approach their issues. Company size (# of employees) Company age (and age of specific location, if relevant) Describe your MPC and how long it has been going on? It it’s been a while, why is it becoming an issue now? What has changed? MPC suggested categories are: Employee Relations, Training and Development, Benefits and Compensation, Recruitment and Retention, Workforce Development/Succession Planning Are there corporate cultural factors to consider? Is your operation multi-location? Multi-state? Remember the stakeholder concept – determine who is affected by the issue. Employees? Investors? Managers? Owners? Your Community? Customers? Describe how they are affected.
